We are looking for submissions for issue 2 of Gather.
Gather is a collaborative zine showcasing artists in the Forth Valley area, produced quarterly by Neon Tide Collective.
The theme is – The Hills
The Forth Valley was formed by millennia of geographic events; volcanic activity that formed the hills for Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument, carved out by glacier erosion in the Ice Age, rising sea levels which filled the valley with marine life (turning the tidal river Forth into a huge sea loch). All of which has meant that the Forth Valley is surrounded by hills, mountains and rock.
The Hills is only a prompt, please feel free to interpret it in any way that speaks to you!
We are interested in any form of art: painting, writing, collage, prints, photography, poetry and illustration. If your art form isn’t in that list, get in touch and we can talk about it! For written pieces, please keep to a maximum of 500 words.
